Twitter Announces New Platform, @Anywhere
In a SXSWi keynote address earlier today, Twitter CEO Ev Williams announced Twitter's new ad platform, @anywhere. @Anywhere will take content sites we visit every day and "recreate open, engaging interactions providing a new layer of value for visitors without sending them to Twitter.com." In its simplest form, the service allows a user to follow people and companies directly from their websites.

Location-Based Features Officially Become a Trend
Twitter recently rolled out its locations feature, allowing tweets posted from the web to include your location. While this functionality has been available to developers for a while, you weren't able to geo-tag your tweets from Twitter.com until this week.
You have to turn the function on to use it, so there's no risk of accidentally including your location if you don't want to.
