You'll have to do the hard part and write a resume on your own, but Staples will let you print 20 of them free of charge through June 13. It's part of a promotion the chain is calling the Career Stimulus Program. On top of the stack of resumes, the program also includes 40 free business cards.

Family and friends were the primary recipients of my business cards when I got my first batch from my first job out of college, but I've started using them more as I've gotten older.

Most business cards that make their way into networking hands are about the basics — personal information on a business looking platform. Self-employed workers have the freedom to create whatever kind of cards they'd like, and many have succeeded in making truly memorable cards without being cheesy. Oddee named the 10 most creative business cards and included cards from various professions ranging from a couples therapist to an acupuncturist.

First, a designer appropriated the Google logo to use as a business card, now Facebook is getting the biz card treatment too, via Jean-Baptiste Gouraud's business cards, which look like a Facebook friend request page (and in French)!

Yes, the name of the employee is printed on the front of the Lego figure, and their other pertinent info is printed on the back.
They don't exactly fit in your wallet or Rolodex, but could you begrudge them that?

I hope I don't shock you all when I confess I don't have a spiffy business card holder. The last one I had was sort of funky (it had multi-colored polka dots on it) and I've outgrown it, to say the least. Not that I want one that is stuffy and boring but I want something nice and professional - but fashionable.
