I've said it before, I'll say it again: Proenza Schouler's Spring collection kicks ass. I dream of a Spring filled with tie-dye, aquatic hues, and chic surfwear. Unfortunately for me, my wallet isn't as sophisticated as my taste. But there's hope; a Fab reader tipped us off to a Proenza-esque piece from Target, similar in print to this top, that will look amazing come sunny days.

These Xhilaration Tie Dye Print Board Swim Bottoms ($15) look like a sporty extension of Proenza Schouler's Spring line, no? So as not to be too matchy matchy, I'd pair it with a solid print top, maybe gray or white, and a sharp black blazer for polish. Surf, here I come.

Print fanatics, rejoice. Liberty of London For Target is landing in stores and online Sunday, March 14. There's enough to make your entire Spring wardrobe totally print-tastic - florals, peacock, paisley, and dots. There are maxi dresses, minidresses, rompers, swimsuits, and bags to choose from. There's even a line of cute accessories for your home. My favorite piece is this chiffon romper (here, right) - might be fun around the villa or poolside.

Liberty of London Coming to Target!

Textile and luxury accessories company Liberty of London will introduce an exclusive collection of chic Spring home must-haves for Target on March 14. The designs will feature the British brand's iconic micro-floral prints on bedding, gardening tools, planters, piggy banks, lamps, candles, storage boxes, ceramic and melamine dishes, and even a bicycle! As always, the line will be an affordable one, with most accessories under $10 or $20, while a quilt rings up at $70 and a floral beach cruiser at $200. Liberty, which has an archive of more than 43,000 print designs, has reworked a selection of its signature floral prints into the collection. So if you've long been a follower of the label (which dates back to 1875), you may come across a few of your favorite patterns to bring home.

New DwellStudio Collection Hits Target Stores Today

DwellStudio debuts its latest collection of bed and bath textiles for Target on shelves today. The brand has stuck to its signature bold, large-scale prints in muted gray and brown tones with splashes of yellow, turquoise, and green. This time, embellishments are more prevalent with rosettes, outline quilting, and running stitches taking stage on a range of throw pillows. DwellStudio's still pushing the pale yellow and gray trend which we saw back in 2007, including a decorative floral pillow (left) that was included in a former collection for Target, so parts of it are looking a little dated to me. There is a Moroccan-inspired bedding set, the Casablanca Quilt and Shams, in lime and a soft grayish blue that I am swooning over, though. Prices range from $24.99 for a throw pillow to $79.99 for a king quilt. See the new items below.

Target Takes a Stand Against Farmed Salmon

At the beginning of the month, I swore that the sustainable seafood trend would explode in 2010. Now it's already going mainstream. Earlier this week, Target announced its plan to stop selling farmed salmon in all of its stores.

The policy, which is part of an effort to make more ocean-sustainable choices, will encompass all fresh, frozen, and smoked seafood offerings, including Target's private labels Archer Farms and Market Pantry and national brands. The company will also stop selling sushi made with farmed salmon by the end of the year.

The eco-conscious decision by Target, a corporation that operates 1,744 stores in 49 states, will undoubtedly send ripples throughout the food retail industry. I'm thrilled Target has gone to such great lengths to take a stance on fish farming practices, and I hope other stores like Costco and Walmart will follow suit.
