Yoshi Laptop Decals: Totally Geeky or Geek Chic?
I won't lie — I'm in love with these Yoshi laptop decals from Etsy. Choose between a solo Yoshi for $10 or with his sidekick, Baby Mario, for $7. Yoshi is close to my heart, being one of my favorite characters from the Mario series (Yoshi's Island, anyone?), so I would slap one of these on my computer in a heartbeat.
Would You Play a Video Game Based on The Bachelor?
Warner Bros. is ready to take your relationship to the next level — it'll finally be releasing its video game based on the ABC dating series The Bachelor this Summer, available on your Wii and DS consoles.
The game, which was announced last Summer, will star previous single-stud Jason Mesnick and few other yet-to-be-named bachelors and bachelorettes from past seasons, and will have you vying for attention in ruthless ways — you can sabotage dates in order to prevent other players from receiving a rose at the end of each round, sending them packing.
Sneak Peek: Nintendo's America's Test Kitchen Game
Yesterday in San Francisco, Nintendo held its Q1 Media Summit and announced the new release of its Nintendo DSi XL. Among its latest games? Let's Get Cooking, a new title courtesy of the most persnickety culinary geeks in the biz, America's Test Kitchen.
Up Close and Personal With the Nintendo DSi XL
Announced at yesterday's Nintendo Q1 Media Summit, the DSi XL will be heading stateside on March 28 for $190. Although the portable console will play the same games as your DS Lite and DSi, it does come with a few extra goodies for you to enjoy: the XL will come stocked with three games right out of the box — Brain Age Express: Math, Brain Age Express: Arts and Letters, and Photo Clock — along with a camera, WiFi connectivity, and a bigger stylus for easy handling (read: for those of you with arthritis).
The dual screens on the XL are 93 percent larger than those on the DSi, which makes it easier to see the details in your games, but Nintendo thinks it will also make a great ereader.

Sometimes getting healthy can be a dangerous thing, even when playing a video game. Being sore after an intense round of Wii bowling isn't too unusual, but a young girl recently suffered a foot fracture while playing Wiii Fit. Yowza!
Best of 2009 Winner: Favorite Nintendo Product
The results are in, and your favorite Nintendo product of 2009 is Super Mario Bros. Wii Edition! I am not surprised by these results given all of the hype and excitement surrounding its release.
Best of 2009 Winner: Favorite Portable Gaming Device
Your favorite portable gaming device of 2009 is the Nintendo DSi! We pitted the pocket-sized portable against the iPod Touch, PSP Go and laptops and it won with 45 percent of the vote. It's not exactly shocking news considering the DSi features two built-in cameras, can connect to the Internet and makes your beloved handheld games rock.
