Scaling back is the road most taken during this weak economy. While we're reconsidering the way we spend our salaries, retailers are looking to downsize through the variety of brands stocked on their shelves.
According to The Wall Street Journal, supermarkets, drugstores and discount retailers are making the move "to cater to budget-conscious shoppers who want to simplify shopping trips and stick to familiar products."
