Dear Savvy,
I am currently serving a one-year term as an AmeriCorps VISTA and it is coming to a close in August. I'm wondering if it's too early to start looking for a new job, or if I should start applying to positions now. Your advice will be much appreciated.

I recently moved in with my boyfriend, and we have been discussing marriage and all that comes with it. In the next two years, we'd like to purchase a house. The problem is that I have excellent credit and his is in serious disrepair after his parents "forgot" to pay his student loans.

I've been trying to cancel my gym contract and the gym guy is making it impossible to get a hold of him to even discuss it. He said we could talk about canceling or reducing the rate, but every time I call and get an answer, he simply says to email him. Then, I get no response and when I call back, I get voice mail.

It's Summer, and I have an interview the first week of July. I plan on wearing a gray skirt-suit with a green top and black pumps. I'm not sure of the dress code, but it seams pretty laid-back from the phone call and how chatty she was.

I am starting a job search and wondering how to handle something on my resume. This Winter, I took a second job working part-time at a major retailer. My father had a stroke when I was at my regular (full-time) job, so of course I rushed to his side!

I have a friend who just "invested" into this MTM (like Amway) business. He's been posting about it all over Facebook and trying to convince his friends and family to join. He claims that it's legit and "it's early on, so you're guaranteed to make money."

I am 24-years old, employed, rent an apartment, and am a college graduate. I do not have a credit card — I have used a debit card for the last eight years or so. I recently applied to get a MasterCard but was rejected on the basis of not having enough credit references.

Over the last couple years I've been really working on improving my credit, and in December I bought my first home! It just recently showed up on my report and has definitely increased my score. But my question is, how do the three reporting agencies vary so much?
