Anita Dunn has proven to be one of Obama’s greatest assets and now perhaps one of his greatest mishaps. As a campaign consultant she boasted boldly during a Jamaican interview that “Obama’s camp controlled the media, ALL the media” and still does today….well perhaps aside from FOX News.
As a Democratic strategist, communications consultant, and is a partner of Squier Knapp Dunn Communications, a Washington-based consulting firm, Anita Dunn has been most recently Obama’s /the White House’s communications chief. Recently she quietly stepped down from her post, resigning and is attempting to tip-toe out of the building and her past revelations which I assert will haunt her and her career in the future.
What is her future?

Long, but worth the effort (I think)
By Scott Ritter
There is a curious phenomenon taking place in the American media at the moment: the lionization of Gen. Stanley McChrystal, the American military commander in Afghanistan. Although he has taken a few lumps for playing politics with the White House, McChrystal has generally been sold to the American public as a “Zen warrior,” a counterinsurgency genius who, if simply left to his own devices, will be able to radically transform the ongoing debacle that is Afghanistan into a noble victory that will rank as one of the greatest political and military triumphs of modern history.

The Sorry State of Journalism
Lessons reporters need to learn from recent fiascos like the Van Jones coverage.
September 9, 2009 - by Christian Toto
I’ve spent the last decade writing articles for daily newspapers, national magazines, and the web. But I never graduated from journalism school, a fact that haunted me for years.

Okay, so Savvy posted yesterday about cover letters. I've read books that say that your cover letter is solely to introduce your resume. While other books say your cover letter should summarize your experience and "sell" your resume to potential employers.

Reuters
By Tim Gaynor
TUCSON, Ariz (Reuters) – When the heavy battering started to buckle the front door of her new home in Tucson, Maria remained frozen to the spot with fear.
As her family scattered to hide in the bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen, masked men toting guns and dressed in flack jackets stormed into the living room shouting "Police! Everyone on the floor!"

NEW YORK – It took all of seven seconds for David Letterman to cut Rod Blagojevich off at the knees during the disgraced politician's "Late Show" appearance last week.
The episode was a reminder of Letterman's least appreciated skill. The monologue is fun, the "Top Ten" list an inspired creation, but often the best work on the "Late Show" comes when Letterman interviews the people invited to sit across from him.

Obama's White House: Big posts, overlapping tasks
By CHARLES BABINGTON – 1 hour ago
WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama is building a White House staff so loaded with big names and overlapping duties that it could collapse into chaos unless managed with a juggler's skill.
It's an administration that seems "addicted to czars," says one longtime observer of government organization.
Obama has installed a White House health czar who doubles as secretary of Health and Human Services.

I saw this over at ohnotheydidnt and thought it was really fun to read! I took the most interesting ones from the original post to share here.
"We all love movies, and its interesting to find out that the final cut we see in theatres or on TV isn't always what was originally imagined or intended by the creators.
