We were walking across The Monroe Street Bridge (in Spokane, WA) taking random pictures and I took this one at dusk on a cloudy day and the top of our courthouse (looks like a castle). I was using a friends camera -- think it is a Canon

Ocean Beach (OB) is a sleepy little beach town in San Diego. When you enter into OB, you feel like you've entered a time warp to the late 60s, early 70s.

Inspired by an anime scene, we ran-and-grabbed a simple chair and bedsheet, planted it next to the Huron River in Michigan, and starting snipping and snapping in the cool fall breeze. We took a few different angles but felt this was the best because of the angled river. Shot with a Canon 5D.

Galveston, TX, may not be considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the US, but it does have its moments. Every time I go down there to visit my boyfriend, I catch a glimpse of what a pretty place it can be. My boyfriend and I were just driving along the seawall and I looked back and saw the sunset.

I am looking into getting my first DSLR. I've hold out on getting one before because I thought my normal point and shoot was enough, but on a recent trip to Orlando, I noticed that I really wanted to capture a lot more, and at a faster speed and my point and shoot just couldn't handle it.
I have narrowed my choices to two popular models the Nikon D90 and the Canon EOS 50D.

I got a new Canon camera a couple of weeks ago from my fiance. Here are some pixs that I took from it: I  my new toy! ;)
BTW, I'm very happy and excited that everyone has been posting their wonderful photography in my group while I was away.

The first real gadget I ever owned is this Canon Ixus camera that my husband bought last December 2005. What I love about this point-and-shoot camera is that I can bring it anywhere because of its size. Although I cannot really adjust any of the settings (like aperture, focal length and all those serious photography stuff), I was still able to take beautiful pictures of sunsets and sunrises, beach landscapes and cityscapes, dinners and lunches with friends, and of course lots and lots and lots of candid shots of me and my family.
