Tokens from the king of pop's life are in high demand and there's plenty of them to go around. The auction site even has a dedicated spot for these items on its homepage.

If thinking outside the box and taking chances are what it takes to get the things you want in life, then TeamSugar member tphilli may be able to teach us a thing or two. Following suit of those who have used eBay in non-traditional ways like finding a wedding sponsor, tphilli is using the site to try and find a mentor. Starting at $0.99, the bidding war to become a mentor to tphilli is open, but there haven't been any bids just yet.

Coming off the bad news that they're the least on-time airline, JetBlue has announced they're auctioning more than 300 roundtrip flights and six vacation packages on eBay. While the opening bids are set between five and 10 cents, it's estimated the airline will make between 85 and 90 percent of the ticket's market value.
The flights up for auction are to 20 destinations and there are four mystery vacation packages to places including Las Vegas and Nassau, Bahamas.

The Indiana University alumni who tried to auction her student loans on eBay didn't have much luck, but another woman is hoping there are buyers out there who would be more willing to bid on her family's $103,254.11 debt. The listing is titled "My Debt, all of my worldly bills comes with house and car" with the caption "My Family Second Chance," and the seller provides a picture of the house, car, and a photo of her family of five. Most of you know all too well that college tuition bills can be outrageous and require hefty loans, and as new grads it can be tough to figure out a way to manage the payments each month. A couple of weeks ago I told you about Luke, a recent college grad who's selling ad space on his website, and the money earned from companies purchasing the space goes towards paying off his student loans. He already has sponsors lined up for March and May.

The eBay strike ended on Monday with uncertain results, meaning it's difficult for them to calculate whether or not the strike had much of an effect on the business.
While last week's strike was up and running, eBay implemented the first of its new policies which meant lowering listing fees but increasing the "final value" fees the site charges sellers as commission. Next month the search function will be updated so that volume sellers with high customer feedback ratings will get priority.
