Just like the many celebrities who started their careers in less-than-glamorous jobs, the CEOs of some of the largest corporations had to work their way up to rollin'-in-it status. It would be awesome to say your job is, oh, just running Yahoo or Microsoft, but you can't exactly step out of college and fill a CEO's shoes. How much do you know about CEOs' first jobs?

This economy has made a lot of people appreciative of the really important things in life, like spending time with loved ones. While I'm perfectly content spending my Valentine's Day in my apartment with my Valentine and a home cooked meal, there are plenty of cupids who can't forget traditionally risque gifts like lingerie or tiny tokens like a card acknowledging the day.

For every boring job out there it seems there's one career that we've never heard of, whether it's one of the oddest jobs of 2008, one of the best-kept-secret careers, or a job that's just starting to gain popularity. Yahoo! found six unusual jobs that also happen to pay quite well.

Performance reviews aren't all about the money, but for an employee's bottom line, they are. Companies have been making big decisions this quarter based on the poor performance of the past year and the uncertainty they face going in to 2009. With big companies laying off by the thousands (in the last week we saw Yahoo and Goldman Sachs cut ten percent of their massive workforces) and many smaller companies instilling temporary hiring freezes, we can be fairly certain that 2008 raises will be, at most, unremarkable.

Interviews tend to be relatively formulaic, and one thing we can count on is hearing the what is your biggest weakness question. "I don't know," isn't a sufficient answer — same goes for, "I don't have any weaknesses." The majority of you may have declared your hatred for the question, but that doesn't preclude you from having to come up with a passable answer.
