Keanu Reeves kept it coming in The Matrix movies, but the role of Neo wasn't initially offered to the actor. Will Smith turned down the role saying, "I would have absolutely messed up The Matrix. At that point I wasn't smart enough as an actor to let the movie be — whereas Keanu was."

When it comes in the form of credit cards, plastic is dramatic. There are always consumers in the news discussing how they've been mistreated by a credit card carrier, and there seems to be an endless stream of hidden policies that rear their harmful heads when customers least expect it.

In a recent interview with the New York Times, Carol Smith, who is senior vice president and chief brand officer for the Elle Group, said women are "hands down" better managers than men. She even went so far as to add "There’s no contest."
In my experience, female bosses tend to be better managers, better advisers, mentors, rational thinkers.

List-master Forbes is trying something new for 2009. For the first time, it asked entertainment industry members to take the Forbes Star Currency survey and used the results to rank Hollywood's elite in terms of their business appeal. More than 1,400 actors were rated on their ability to attract financing, whether their involvement guarantees the project will make it to theaters, box office results, and how their involvement played into rights deals for things like DVD or pay/free TV.

If success is a turn-on, then the hot power couples in Hollywood must be lusting after each other to no end. These may be two-income households, but both halves can hold their own in millions. The jury is out on who tends to pick up the check, but Forbes has declared which pairs fit the bill as the top-earning couples in Hollywood.

If you thought Hollywood's A-list actresses made a killing with their big-screen paychecks, you'll be blown away by the guys' ability to rake it in. When Forbes compared the 10 best-paid actresses to their male counterparts, it discovered the men's paychecks over the past year totaled $487 million while the women's added up to $244.5 million.
With his estimated income of $80 million, Will Smith is sitting pretty at number one on Forbes' list of the best-paid actors in Hollywood.
