Michael Phelps showed off his still ripped body on the beach in Miami yesterday. He seemed to be having a blast running around with a football and trying out a few familiar poses in the sand. The fun of his amazing ride through 2008 hasn't worn off just yet and while his partying may have turned some fans off, he's set to get back in the pool sometime this month.

Jenny McCarthy slipped into another little bikini yesterday to lounge in Hawaii with Jim Carrey. After a day in the sun, the duo pulled out the beach chairs and brought out drinks to watch the sunset with a canine companion. We've seen this striped number before and this vacation is kicking off the 2009 bikini bodies with a bang.

India's government-run Air India airline has dumped 10 female fight attendants who were grounded last year for being overweight. A report says the firings occurred after the cabin crew was warned about meeting minimum physical fitness standards (as in, not being thin enough, apparently) and given "sufficient time to lose weight." The report also says the flight attendants were offered alternative ground assignments, which they understandably refused.

Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy looked totally in love taking a long walk on the beach in Hawaii yesterday. Jenny is smoking hot as ever in her orange bikini and even without sporting her swimwear they had lots to smile about. These two certainly enjoy the good life these days, Jim back to feel good comedy and Jenny taking her role as a spokeswoman and author very seriously.

As I was at a check-in kiosk over the holidays, I noticed several signs for showering facilities right at SFO. Granted, it's my hometown, so I'd have no reason to use it even if my flight was delayed, but I wondered if all the people camping out past security knew about this offering.
With standard ($11 for 20 minutes plus soap and towel) and deluxe ($15 for 30 minutes with full sets of toiletries and towel) showers, this didn't seem like a bad idea if someone wasn't down to spring for a hotel room for the night.

While 90210 has been on hiatus, the show's costars have been busy heating things up in South Beach. AnnaLynne McCord showed off her body in a teeny bikini while her boyfriend Kellan Lutz used his cap to tell the world just how much he loves the vacation city. Kellan also starred as one of Robert Pattinson's fellow Twilight vampires, and if those boys can keep up the shirtless action, perhaps they can take the Sexiest Group title away from the Jonas Brothers in 2009.

Kate Moss packed up her man Jamie Hince and daughter Lila for their annual January trip to Thailand. She showed off a new bandage on her wrist Saturday, as she and Jamie joined friends for cocktails and cigarettes on the beach. Kate's trio made the long trip after celebrating Jamie's birthday two weeks ago with a lavish Andy Warhol-themed bash at her country home, where Kate finally made her much-anticipated "big announcement."
