Oct 9 2009 - 2:45pm Including co-workers and your boss in your wedding day can be a sensitive subject. Inviting friends you've made at work who also serve as friends outside of the workplace seems like the right choice, but it can still be dicey and cause hurt feelings. On this week's The Office, the entire branch road trips to Niagara Falls to attend Pam and Jim's nuptials.
It depends. I work with all women and we all pretty much get along, so every so often we have a little get-together where we drink a little and hang out and watch the Packer game or
something. I don't think I'd ever invite any of my coworkers to any parties where my family would be there, though...that'd be weird.
This year on my birthday, I did not want to invite the one person in the office who makes my life miserable but since a co-worker's going away party was at the same bar, he walked over to my
party like a drunk fool and never left. Other than his presence, my birthday was awesome.

1I only spend personal time with co-workers that I get along with.
2Not often. My coworkers and my friends are usually very different types.
