Feb 18 2010 - 2:45pm The competition is hot with coffee. First, McDonald's rolled out its own McCafe coffee drinks in 2008, now Burger King hopes to one-up their fast food rival by offering Starbucks-owned Seattle's Best Coffee in 7,250 of its US stores come September. Think this menu addition won't change your morning routine?
I probably wouldn't, but it depends on what kind of drinks I can get and at what price. I don't eat at Burger King so I wouldn't get one just cuz I'm there and part of the reason I like to go
to Starbucks is the atmosphere which you so DON'T get at BK. But if I could get a good white chocolate mocha for a big discount, I'd go when I'm low on money.
I agree, it depends on the types of drinks they'll offer. Also, just because it's quality coffee they're serving, doesn't mean they won't leave it sitting out wayyy to long.
I don't like burger king so I probably will not be going there for coffee. If their food isn't good it's a waste of gas or a trip to even walk in for coffee.
I would buy it only if it were prepared in the same manner as it would be at any Seattle's store. McDonald's McCafe is supposed to be a comparable replacement to Starbuck's (NOT). Their
regular coffee is so watered down and the cashiers are not trained to make even decent coffee drinks (80% milk and such......).
