When a location is voted the world's best city, it must be something truly special. Every year, Travel & Leisure magazine asks its readers to determine the best city in the world, and this year Udaipur, India, beat out other top cities like Cape Town, Bangkok, Buenos Aires, and Rome for the number one spot.

Not all travel sites are guaranteed to deliver happy, helpful, money-saving experiences. Many of you are all about Kayak.com and your judgment is good — the editors of Budget Travel call the website "The all-time best site for finding the cheapest plane tickets in the US." Dear Savvy,
On June 10th I'm leaving to go to Europe for two weeks with my roommate. Her family is loaded, but mine? Not so much.

Rushing to check out of your hotel to catch your flight home, you wonder if an ATM stop is needed before hailing your airport-bound cab. This is when the World Taximeter could come in handy — it estimates how much your cab ride will cost based on distance, local cab fares, and traffic estimations from Google, and you can access the service online or on your cell phone.
The service currently supports estimates in the following cities: Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Boston, Dublin, London, Los Angeles, Madrid, New York, Paris, Prague, Rome, San Francisco, and Toronto.
