Money Tip: Adopt a Cooling Off Period

Just released anything can be super tempting - whether it's the new MacBook Air or the bright colored frocks that we're already seeing for Spring. Of the minute items are just asking to be bought impulsively, but there's a way to control these cravings. Define a cooling off period to give yourself to think about the item, and if you're still lusting after it a few weeks later it's no longer an impulse buy. Just make sure you save the money for it instead of putting it on credit. And for big ticket gadget items, the best idea is to hold out as long as possible because we all know how quickly those prices can change.
