quarterlife Internship Program, and recently posted an opening for an internship at The Richie-Madden Children’s Foundation. Interning and volunteering are the most effective ways
to build our resumes during school, and hey, the potential of a celeb sighting while you're interning at a do-good foundation isn't a bad deal.
That particular spot is for a
Communications/Web Design Intern, but the quarterlife Internship Program has several opportunities with various organizations that would be amazing for college students.

We all know internships are important - and great experience. Any tips finding one?
1Well d_et_g, start by searching online on sites like the quarterlife Internship Program. I found all of my college internships by searching online. My school wasn't helpful in having a network of internships but maybe yours is...stop by the career counseling center or your major's main office.

3If only I lived in LA or NYC.
Most of these internships are there and I just can't afford to
move there for a few months with no pay and no living expenses either. Ahh.. sooo jealous!!
4i think that internships are the smartest things ever. my school required that we had them and we got credit so that was nice and some people are even lucky enough to get ones that pay which is even better.
i think that one of the best benefits is that there are times that you can even get hired from your internship - i did and that was a blessing cause i didn't have to hunt for a job!
5Internship are sometimes overrated so for it to be worth while you need to find a GREAT one which will help you in the long run. Nevetheless, I just looked on the website savvy recommend and saw an unpaid internship 3-5 days a week from 10am-6pm when would this intern have time to go to school? Is it just me because that sounds more like a days work that an internship which is suppose to work arround the students schedule.
