Over the holidays, some of my friends housesat for us for a few days. When I have someone stay at my house, I try to make it as tidy and welcoming as possible, and one of my go-to tasks is tidying and cleaning the flatware drawer. I am always up for a good hamstring stretch and have found this series of partner poses not only fun but also effective in stretching my legs and working my abs. It's similar to the
Double Standing Straddle, but you're lying on your back with gravity helping you deepen your stretch. Not only will you feel an intense stretch in your hips and the backs of your legs, but you'll also work your abs at the same time.

Last year I told you about some great exercises you can do to strengthen and tone your muscles using resistance bands and dumbbells. Check out my top six favorite moves that target your arms, upper back, quads, and glutes.

But don't throw it away! Here are some ways to make sure that the holiday paper doesn't go to waste this morning.

Yoga poses are great to do individually, but when you link them together, you create a fluid dance-like sequence that strengthens your body and energizes your mind. In case you missed them the first time around, here's a collection of my favorite yoga sequences.
