Hilary wore a regal purple color on the red carpet tonight at Fashion Rocks. I'll let you tell Fab how much you like her asymmetrical dress, but for her makeup she chose to coordinate the colors to her outfit. It's not an exact match — which was smart, but rather a shade or two lighter on both the lips and eyes.

Soon, author Emily Giffin will find something of hers borrowed for the big screen — her stories. Hilary Swank and her producing partner Molly Smith have bought the rights to Giffin's popular novels Something Borrowed and Something Blue, and they may end up being "starring vehicles" for Swank. We were just talking about these producing partners and another book-to-movie deal that may star Swank: French Women Don't Get Fat.

Donald Trump threw yet another party to celebrate his future Trump Tower Dubai, only this time the festivities took place Saturday night in Los Angeles. He paid Christina Aguilera to come out and perform for the crowd, which included the likes of Orlando Bloom, Kate Walsh, and Lucy Liu. Hayden Panettiere looked sassy in her leopard print mini dress, and even talked to the reporters about the recent trouble with her family, reiterating to Extra that it was all blown out of proportion and even saying that it was all about the sheriff wanting "his 15 minutes of fame."

Apparently there's enough meat on the bones of this self-help book to make a whole romantic comedy — or at least Hilary Swank and her production company think so. Swank and her producing partner Molly Smith have signed on to turn Mireille Guiliano's French Women Don't Get Fat into a feature-length film.
Variety explains that the non-fiction book offers "insights on how French women manage to stay slim despite enjoying such calorie-rich fare as wine and pastries."

Hilary Swank was quoted in Woman's World in 2005 saying, "I cut coupons, love specials, and believe in buying toilet paper and toothpaste in bulk. It's just who I am." Swank probably picked up the penny-pinching habit during her meager beginnings living in a trailer park, but she was onto something.
