In He's Just Not That Into You, Drew Barrymore plays Mary, an ad saleswoman who is looking for love and all of the above while navigating the confusing intersection of dating and technology. Mary is outgoing and honest about her trials and romantic interests and openly discusses her crushes with co-workers (she even shows them MySpace pics) while at the office. While I understand sharing personal details with your work BFF, most employers aren't thrilled when employees gab and compare romantic notes on the job.

Clothing optional situations are typically limited to behind closed doors, but not if you're venturing off on a nakation. You don't have to bare it all on nakations — that's where the optional part comes into play — though you can if you want to. Dear Savvy,
My husband and I share a bank account. We both work (he makes more money than I do) and it was his idea to combine bank accounts when we got married a year ago. The combined money situation was going smoothly until recently, when he started spending like he did when he was single.

You can never have too many books on your reading list, and this suggestion might bring some variety to those you've already cracked open. Former reporter for Reuters and Newsday Lauren Weber just published her book In Cheap We Trust: The Story of a Misunderstood American Virtue, which focuses on the evolution of thrift, from the Puritans to the freegans. She keeps the text fresh by including personal anecdotes — she describes her economist father as "compulsively cheap" and admits that once he tried to ration toilet paper.
