DIY These Adorable Button Paper Clips

Create eye-catching organizers that keep your papers correlated with cuteness. This DIY is an adorable way to make use of all those random buttons cluttering your drawers, and you can pick up small boxes of paper clips at the dollar store, which makes this easy project seriously budget-friendly. Not sure what to get a co-worker for her birthday? Hot-glue up a batch of these cuties, and she'll be your new best workmate.

What You'll Need:

  • Buttons
  • Paper clips
  • Hot glue gun

Directions:

  1. We used both small and large clips for a fun variety of shapes and sizes of finished clips. And any style of button works for this project. Heat up your hot glue gun, and pair the buttons with paper clips before starting.
  1. To create a solid connection between the button and paper clip, you have to work fast! Flip the button over, so the side you want facing out is flat on your work space. Now place a large dot of hot glue on the back of the button, and press on the paper clip. If your button has a raised back, or a shank, you can even nestle the round of the paper clip around the protrusion.
  1. Allow the hot glue to dry for a minute or two, and secure with additional hot glue as needed. Your button paper clips are ready to use!
