if i was in the audience, that would have been a sore disapointment, that's for sure

it's nice and all, and all the gifts are thoughtful but it's not even the same concept as it used to be

I haven't heard about them yet, so here I go!

I know it's not PC or even in the spirit of Christmas, but these gifts are pretty crappy. The 12 dates is pretty cool but I'd pass on everything else.

i don't find the 12 dates thing very cool

i mean, my boyfriend and i go on cool dates all the time, and he still gives me a present at xmas! (and i to him, obviously - i bought him some pretty sweet stuff last night!)

i can see spending your money on a trip or a weekend away, rather than gifts, but shouldn't couples go on 12 dates in a month, regardless? plus, sometimes i like to stay home and cook for him and sit around in sweats, cuddling, and watching movies...i wouldn't want to feel pressured to go out on a date just because this was "the plan"!

agreed, these gifts are pretty crap. i wouldn't be thrilled to recieve any of them. (and trust me, i don't expect or really care about presents anyway, except from my mom cuz she rocks at buying stuff)...i'd rather someone didn't spend so much time on something crappy just because they didn't have the money to buy something real. just give me a card and a hug and i'm happy. or some chocolate, hahah, chocolate pleases me!
