No Surprise to Anyone, 12% of Remote Workers Admit to Having Sex on the Job

It goes without saying that remote workers have way more flexibility than in-office employees. With all the time saved by ditching their traffic-filled commutes, they can squeeze in hot-girl walks and maybe even whip up their own version of a girl dinner for lunch. But new data suggests that's not the only kind of multitasking going on during the work day.

According to a study conducted by TonerGiant, 12 percent of the 2,000 people surveyed admitted to having sex while working remotely — and actually, it's mostly millennials in the 25-to-34 age range.

Really, this isn't too surprising, especially if you happen to be working from home alongside a romantic partner who is also reaping the benefits of remote work. (Or if you happen to get horny when you're bored.) But many other remote workers were quick to share their thoughts on the survey results.

On X, formerly known as Twitter, one person noted that, "Most non-remote workers spend as much time doing non-work stuff during business hours as most remote workers."

Others argued that if work tasks and assignments are being completed, it shouldn't matter what remote workers are doing with the rest of their time at home.

"Who cares if they get all their work done?"

"But are they completing their task?" one user wrote. Another said, "This is true, however, the job is getting done, tasks are completed, and overall, we are happier." Another said, "Who cares if they get all their work done?"

The debate around whether employees should be able to work from home or not has caused many widespread opinions — mainly from employers. But time and time again, studies have shown that remote employees are happier, and research has also shown that when people are happier, they have more sex. (It really does track.)

All that said, if you're going to sneak in a little sex session — whether with a partner or not — it's best to do it away from your laptop. For obvious reasons, only do it after triple checking you have no meetings on your calendar and your video and sound are turned off. And, of course, make sure it won't be during a time when someone may be actively checking in on the status of a project you're supposed to be working on. Get your stuff done.

So long as your work is being completed, though, who says a little afternoon delight can't be added to your to-do list?
