Several friends have told me they have nervous tics that only come out in interviews: one friend’s nose starts to run uncontrollably, another becomes compulsive about pushing her hair away from her face, a third laughs at inappropriate times. Personally, I pick at my fingernails when I’m anxious during an interview.
