Fall is a great time to be a coffee fiend — and not just because it's the season of pumpkin spice lattes. In honor of National Coffee Day and International Coffee Day (on Sept. 29 and Oct. 1, respectively), coffee brands are brewing up some great discounts and freebies — and you can get in on the goodness as early as Sept. 25.

Scroll ahead for a look at some of the best National Coffee Day deals, including free cups from chains including Dunkin' and Panera, great deals on bags of beans and coffee accessories, and subscriptions for home delivery from roasteries like Partners Coffee. (You might not be ready to think about it yet, but some of these also make great holiday gifts for coffee-lovers.)

National Coffee Day Deals 2023: Free Drinks

Circle K: Get one free cup of coffee, any size, at Circle K locations from Sept. 25 through Oct. 2 via the Circle K app.

Dunkin': On Sept. 29, grab a free medium hot or iced coffee with purchase at any Dunkin' location, as long as you're signed up for Dunkin' Rewards online or on the brand's app.

Krispy Kreme: To score a free medium hot or iced coffee at Krispy Kreme on Sept. 29, all you need to do is show up. You can also snag an extra glazed donut for $2 if you purchase dozen.

La Madeleine: On Oct. 1, French café La Madeleine is giving away a free regular or large drip coffee with any online or app purchase from any of its 85 locations in the southeast, southwest, and northeast.

Panera: This deal isn't limited to National Coffee Day. If you join Panera's Unlimited Sip Club ($12 per month) between now and Nov. 30, you'll get two months free, plus a six-month digital subscription to The Washington Post. Joining Unlimited Sip Club means you can enjoy any size drip hot coffee (among many other beverages) every two hours during regular bakery-café hours, including free refills of the same beverage at any participating Panera.

Paris Baguette: From Sept. 29 to Oct. 1, Paris Baguette Rewards members can enjoy one free medium hot or iced Lavazza coffee with any purchase at cafe locations.

Peet's Coffee: Peet's Coffee announced a "Disloyalty Program" where you can redeem rewards points from rival coffee brands — including Starbucks, Dutch Bros, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Dunkin', Tim Hortons, Better Buzz, Joe and the Juice, Bluestone Lane, and The Human Bean — for a free beverage on Sept. 29. First, create a Peetnik Rewards account online, take a screenshot of your point balance in another coffee loyalty app, upload it to your Peet's account, and they'll convert it to a free-coffee reward.

PJ's Coffee of New Orleans: PJ's Coffee has over 150 locations nationwide, and on Sept. 29, they're offering a free 12-oz. hot coffee or cold brew with any pastry or sandwich purchase. Between Sept. 25 and Sept. 29, they're also giving away a free hot coffee with any whole-bean coffee bag purchase.

Pilot Flying J: Pilot is giving away free coffee all day on Sept. 29. Redeem through the myRewards Plus app and you'll get any size hot, iced, or cold brew coffee for free.

Pret a Manger: Sign up for the Club Pret subscription service ($40 per month) on the chain's app between Sept. 29 and Oct. 1 and you'll get 50 percent off your first month using the code COFFEEDAY23.

Shipley Do-Nuts: On Sept. 29, Shipley will give away a free medium house blend hot coffee or iced coffee with any purchase at all 340+ locations.

Starbucks: On Sept. 29, select Starbucks locations across the country will be hosting free coffee tastings.

Tim Hortons: On Sept. 29, Tim Hortons is celebrating National Coffee Day by offering Tims Rewards Members a free medium hot or iced coffee with any purchase over $3.

Quickchek: On Sept. 29, Get a free self-serve coffee (hot or iced) with any purchase at any of Quickchek's 165 locations in New Jersey, New York's Hudson Valley, and Long Island — as long as you use QuickChek Rewards at the register.

National Coffee Day Deals 2023: Free Beans & More

Atlas Coffee: If you sign up for Atlas Coffee Club ($9-$28 per month) — a monthly subscription that delivers beans, grounds, or pods monthly from around the world — between Sept. 25 to Oct. 2, you'll get your first bag of coffee free when you use the code ATLASCOFFEEDAY23.

Bean Box: Use the code COFFEEDAY23 for a free 12-oz. bag of coffee with any purchase on the Bean Box website or through the Bean Box Mobile App between Sept. 29 and Oct. 1.

Grounds & Hounds Coffee Co.: Between Sept. 25 and Oct. 1, take 20 percent off sitewide at Grounds & Hounds Coffee Co. with the code NCDAY20 at checkout. If you spend over $100, use the code NCDAY25 for 25 percent off. The brand sells everything from coffee subscriptions and pods to mugs, apparel, and cute coffee- and dog-themed gifts.

Keurig: Keurig is hosting a giveaway on its Instagram page between Sept. 25 and 29, where you can win a coffee-centric trip to Upstate New York, free pods, and more. The brand is also offering online shopping deals on its website from Sept. 26 to Oct. 2, including 20 to 30 percent off brewers and accessories with the code COFFEEDAY23 and 15 percent off all beverages.

Lavazza: Lavazza is offering 20 percent off of their coffee on Amazon, as well as $3 off at participating Kroger, Ahold, Wakefern, and Albertsons stores when you buy any Lavazza coffee and Kinder Bueno bars. They're also hosting a giveaway on Instagram, where you can win free coffee, chocolate, and more. Enter now through Oct. 3.

Partners Coffee Roasters: On Oct. 1, Partners Coffee Roasters is running a flash sale on coffee subscriptions ($16 and up), offering an additional 10 percent off customers' first three subscription orders. (This deal is available to new or returning customers, as long as it's a new subscription.)

Trade Coffee: From Sept. 25 to Oct. 2, use the code TradeCoffeeDay when you sign up for a Trade Coffee subscription ($15 to $20). You'll get a free bag of coffee with a number subscription, plus an additional $5 off a three-bag subscription or $10 off a four-bag subscription.
