Your Two Cents: What Are You Resolving For 2009?

It's going to be a great year. Can't you feel it? Resolutions are only worth your time if you believe that you can commit to them, so set your sights on one or two goals and begin taking the steps to fulfill them.

I'm with DC Fashionista...I also waste a lot of money eating out (where I usually only complete half an entree anyway). Then there's just unnecessary odds and ends.

Pay off my discover credit card! Last year was a very good year for me in regards to managing money. I hope to keep it up and have not more credit card debt once and for all.

Learn more about money, I know some things but could learn so so much more-be more independent with financial things since I have my dad who usually helps me out, I am trying to learn more on my own and plan a better future. Since I am in college, trying to spend less money on things I don't really need, save money on the side to pay off loans for the future, etc..

pay off the remainder of my CC debt, save more money, but splurge for my 21st birthday in Vegas, no more over draft/late fees (I've have this for a few months and been so successful at it) Be wiser about my money and where I am spending it and keep up my diet and exercise regime, I've lost 5lbs in 2 weeks :]

To stop wasting money on things like overdraft charges and late fees. I set up all my stuff through Mint.com this weekend and I already feel more in control of my finances then I have in years!

I need to contribute more to my 401(k) because I've been sort of just doing the default contribution. I also want to sit down with our company's bank rep to go through all the different investment options I have. I think right now I have the "medium risk/medium return" option selected and I think I may want to diversify it a little bit. I also resolve to spend less money on stupid little things when I'm out shopping. Only planned purchases allowed!
