Student loans $21,000. secondstar 3 years I just graduated and have $55-60K (uhhhg!) which is about average among my other recently graduated friends with loans. And that was at a moderately priced state school. I am happy to say that I don't have any credit card debt! I use my card for most purchases since I get reward points, but always pay it off. Most of my friends have student loans starting at 20k! I'm really proud to graduate from a private college with ONLY $10k, and that took a lot of work. Other than my student loans, I have absolutely no debt. Since I took a paycut this year, and my company raised my health care deductible, I'm pretty happy that I cut back and didn't rely on my credit card!
