Now that Thanksgiving is almost here, it’s official — the holidays have begun. Whether you plan to take advantage of Black Friday deals and start your shopping now or you tend to wait until the last minute, your post-work schedule is bound to ramp up for the next several weeks.

But, what about your work life? Some industries — retail, for one! — get exponentially busier during the holidays, while others tend to slow down until after the New Year. Which category does your job fall into?

Yes, but we don't have Black Friday sales, thankfully.
1No, thank God.
I work with computers for a company...however, I do remember being a waitress and having to deal with the chaos in my college days!
2I work for a big corporation and Q4 is always a nightmare. (See? Don't even call it the holiday season - normally we call it "Fall crunch") Busy busy busy!
3Another perk of working in entertainment, everyone takes the holidays off! At the last studio I worked for, we would get the whole week between Christmas and New Year's off, paid too! I miss that company.
4Actually, we get quite a bit slower during holidays. People go out of town or whatever and the clinics are usually closed. We still have to work the holidays for emergencies, but the workload is a LOT lighter.
