I chose politician because of the two examples you had posted for the jobs. I'd much rather be a Hillary Clinton than Oprah Winfrey! And even though politicians are mostly evil, I think good ones can actually get stuff done! Talk show hosts sit on their rear ends and talk and suggest weird books to read. But I love Hillary and hate Oprah.

2I tend to look as Oprah as an example that everyone can obtain the American Dream if they work hard enough. I see Hillary as an example that the American Dream can be bought, paid for, and ultimately become a weight around your neck.
While both of your examples are two individuals who have had tremendous impacts on people's lives...Oprah's have been mostly unselfish but Hillary's have been a means to her own goal.
I am neither of these two individual's cheerleaders, but I'd love to think I'd choose the unselfish impacts over niceties towards a personal goal...but human nature usually takes the easier path. The means to a goal.
Humanity needs more who choose the unselfish impact.

5I'd be a talk show host only because I'm fascinated by people and their stories and I'd love to be paid to interview people like that. I think Oprah's got a really great job; she basically gets paid to do what she likes doing anyway.

7I chose talk show host but more like Ellen or Bonnie Hunt. I wouldn't want to be Oprah at all. And I'd never make it in the political world, I'm too "middle of the road".

I have to say I always felt Oprah held a higher standard but over the past 5 years I have seen the content slide. When she started having Dr Phil on---it was the beginning of me not watching her show.
I think I'd rather have a root canal than watch any program with Dr Phil on it....and from his latest stats---his days are numbered.

10I think you should wake up to a job you love doing,and can't wait to get there.You should help other people in the process. That way its a win win .Peace.
