Did You Work Over the Labor Day Weekend?

Sure, it's a holiday that's meant to be a break for workers, but I bet some people couldn't help working. Whether it's because you have too much to do or you're just a workaholic, I'm wondering if you brought your work along with you during the weekend.

Yes, but not because I am a workaholic. I don't have any paid vacation, holiday or sick time, so it was work for me.

I'm an RN and hospitals don't close, so I worked and made a sweet time and half!

I brought home some documents to revise & transcribing for one of the attorneys in the office - about 2-3 hours.

Does prepping for family gathering count? Haha. I love my family, but yeah, it does take some work. Good thing I had Monday off--from everything and everyone. ;p

I took Friday off from my day job so I had a 4-day break from the office, but my 2nd job is at a golf course so I still had to work Saturday and Monday.

I work Sun/Tues/Thurs so I work half of every weekend!

The call center where I word is open 365, so it was 8 hour days at the office as usual. Weekends and holidays don't apply to us. In other news, I'm applying to other jobs :)

Yep. In fact, I'm at work right now. Not by choice, of course, haha. I work for an animation studio and we are in crunch time to meet a deadline. We have worked the entire weekend. In fact, I've worked for 15 straight days in a row, most of them 12-hour days. I'm tired! Haha. They are giving us a 3-day weekend in October to make up for missing this one.
