Everyone is itching for economic recovery, but only some cities look like they're going to get there any time soon. Forbes ran the stats on which cities are poised for the fastest recovery; which of the places on their list would you want to live in most?

I have lived in San Antonio for 28 years (I'm only 30, but you get the idea). I'd prefer Austin or Seattle if I could afford them. SA is very affordable. I make enough money to live comfortably here, and I'm not afraid of being laid-off...so I'm kind of stuck here for now. But San Antonio has some other perks as well...I guess.

I'd love to move to Boulder, CO to be closer to some of my husband's family that lives out there. We've been out there to visit and it's such a nice area. My second choice would be Austin, though...I've heard it's a really great city as well.

I do live in Dallas, but I would love to live in Seattle. It's my dream city.

I'm with pinkprincess. McAllen??? REALLY?? On the other hand, this makes me kind of sad that I'm leaving Texas, my home state, soon. Especially as I'll be looking for a job in a while and half of these cities are IN TEXAS. Um...Austin and San Antonio I definitely wouldn't mind living in. Dallas...not so much. I would really like to visit Seattle, I've heard great things about it so I'd like to check it out...and I wouldn't mind living in the area surrounding DC - not IN DC proper...but Bethesda? Sure! :D

Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers is actually in Arkansas, which is AR not AK. Great area! I grew up there!

i live in arlington, va now and am from the dc metro area. great location with a lot to offer...cnn money just voted arlington the #2 best place to live for the rich and single. :-)

I've heard such great things about it, pinkprincess! If I ever just picked up and moved some day, I would go to San Antonio. My husband thinks it is a great city, too.

Truthfully, none of the above. If I wanted to truly re-locate, I would go abroad to major cities like London or Paris.

I miss Maryland/DC/Va...so Alexandria.Though now I am fond of the deep South, so maybe one of the southern states. Probably Alabama, close to where I am now.
