I'm a creature of habit and generally eat lunch every day at noon. That's when I get hungry, and it's a nice break time for me to look forward to in the morning. The fact that I naturally pop up and head to the kitchen right at noon has become a bit of a joke for those who sit around me, but I see all the same faces at the fridge, which leads me to believe many of us have a set dine time. Do you grub at the same time every day, or do you just grab lunch at different times?

When I'm hungry I simply eat a little something.
1To be fair, I think that the "good stopping place" is sometimes substituted by "when I can't figure this out and need to walk away for a few minutes"
2I'm a combination of "when I'm hungry," "when I'm at a good stopping place," and "I don't break for lunch." When I start to get hungry, I try to figure out how long it will take to finish the task I'm working on. Then, when I get to a good place to stop for a quick second, I either leave and buy my lunch or get it from the fridge, make it, etc. Then, I come back and typically work through my lunch, so I'm not breaking for lunch as much as I am breaking to get my lunch.
3I'm a combo of when it's a good stopping point and when I'm hungry. Unless I'm meeting people for lunch then it's a set time. I take a lunch break these days and find I'm more productive in the afternoon after I've left my desk for at least 1/2 hour.
4when my co-worker has made me so angry, i'm afraid i might kill him. today, i probably should have taken my lunch at 9:05.
5I chose "When it's my set lunch time" but that's because I set my own time. I usually go to lunch early afternoon. I like a late lunch because it makes the afternoon go by more quickly.
