Using iPod For Your Wedding Music?

My friend was telling me about a wedding she recently went to where the couple decided to forgo hiring a band and ended up just playing tracks on their iPod. Apparently, none of the guests were grooving to the beats on the dance floor, but that could also be the newlyweds' choice of music. My friend thinks that it's essential to hire someone to play music because she says the wedding guests are more likely to dance since the band or DJ can change the tunes to suit the mood of the attendees.
