Weddings are all about families and love, but sometimes it can be hard to gauge how much money and time you need to give when a relative is tying the knot. LSAV5 recently posted a familiar question in our Q and A group.

I'm a bridesmaid in my brother's wedding. What are my obligations as a sister? Do I need to organize an event on my own?

i was in my brother's wedding as well. i don't think there is any need to plan an event, just be a good sister and try to pick up any slack you can. in my case, this involved helping out with some of the clean-up at the end of the night, transporting the bridesmaids from out of town to get their dresses, picking up the bride's dress, trying to keep the self-centered bridesmaid from completely pissing off my brother, and leaving their house (where most of the bridal party stayed) free of dirty dishes.
