The last month of the year is finally here! You may be geared up for holiday parties, gift giving and peppermint mocha coffee breaks, but are you ready for the end-of-the-year (and decade!) push, raise (or no raise) season, and 2009 deadlines?

Last month most of you said you hoped to finish your holiday shopping and save some money. What's your primary goal for this wintery month?

Cross off the items on my to-do list (which include: finish grad school apps, holiday shopping, and packing up from my sublet) before December 24th, and then chill out with my family, my boyfriend and his family for a week-long holiday.

Ugh, buy a car. Our vehicles have 305,000 and 167,000 miles on them and we need a newer vehicle. So I've been scouring Craigslist for a decent one that isn't too expensive. We want to buy it before my husband has to go back out to Arizona again.

I want to go to the gym three to four times a week, like I did back in September, it will be hard but I know I can do it. Plus kicking my diet soda and regular soda habit.

My goals are: -Try to get a raise and/or bonus this year (this is my first full year working at a new job and I am going above and beyond here) -Pay off my debt before January 1st (have under $500 so I hopefully can do it) -Buy some holiday gifts without going crazy and spending tons of money (I tend to go overboard buying presents for people). -Work out a new budget for 2010 (hopefully with new raise!! lol)

My goal is to have found a literay agent for my first manuscript by the end of the year. It's a young adult fiction novel and I'm really excited to get it out there but first I have to find someone who believes in it!!!
