We all judge people for their expensive purchases. I have to admit that I'm guilty of it. But keep in mind that we're not getting the whole picture. Maybe she took up a side job to pay for her Lululemon addiction, or maybe he gave up a nicer place to splurge on a fancy car. Cut them some slack. No one needs your approval to spoil themselves. It's all about having the right balance of cutting back on things for the luxuries that are important to you. In fact, you probably splurge on stuff other people think is meaningless too. Focus on your own finances instead of throwing stones at glass houses.
