Life Lessons From Sex and the City

Her story: A graduate of Harvard Law, Miranda is a devoted attorney with a rigorous schedule. She makes partner at her law firm and makes her own way in the world. She's constantly out to prove to herself and anyone else who questions her goals or her independence.

The lesson: Miranda is goal-oriented, and accomplishes anything she sets out to do. She's got a work ethic we can all learn from, but also knows her personal limits. She's human; when she has a baby she knows it's time to pull back some, but she doesn't throw in the towel. She still works to do what she loves and shows us that you can have it all, but it might not look the way you thought it would.
