The higher the positive number, the less likely it is to win, but the payout is bigger. For example, +200, or 2 to 1, means for every chore you bet, you’ll win 2 chores. Someone who wins off +2,000 will get their bet times 20. You just divide the odds by 100 to get your payout.
A negative number means the pick is more favored to win, so you should bet more to win what you want. If the odds are -200, or 1/2, you should bet two chores to win a full chore, or risk only winning half a chore.
Still confused? Ignore the payout ratios, use the odds to see who is more likely to win, and bet your friends and family one day’s worth of cleaning straight up!
