Interesting Public Companies

It seems like every company these days is going public a.k.a. allowing shares of their company to be available for everyone to buy. One that surprised me recently was plans of a cupcake company, Crumbs Bake Shop, to go public soon. This got me thinking about all the different type of stocks you can buy.
