During an uncharacteristic home organization spree the other day, I came across a couple of unused gift certificates to Williams-Sonoma and Macy's that had been stored somewhere they wouldn't be forgotten. Or so I thought. The next time I have the urge to shop, I'll head straight to these stores since I'm starting out ahead by shopping there. What gift cards to you have laying around waiting to be used?

Nine West
Anthropologie -- it's for $40.00, so I have to save up the rest of the money to buy a sock. That place is soooo expensive.
Williams Sonoma and Nordstrom. But those stores are pricey, and I'm waiting until I really need to buy something.
J Crew and Macy's, but I have to find the Macy's one!
Just in my wallet I have Macy's, Ann Taylor Loft and Starbucks. I'm sure I have more put away in a safe place at home.
We've actually been saving gift cards for a while. As a "Thank You" for a job well done, my work often gives out gift cards to a store of our choosing. I have been collecting Potter Barn cards for a while. I've been able to save enough over the last two years to buy gorgeous lamps and a large area rug. Out of pocket, I think I will only have to pay $20 or $30.
Sorry it's Pottery Barn, not Potter Barn! LOL
Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Pier 1, and Bath and Body Works. I don't go any of those places that often so I've had these for at least a year.
Gap... I wont a contest! Waiting to find some good stuff ;]
won* rather
Amazon, $100. I keep changing my mind about what I want to spend it on.
$60 at Borders.
I think we have some Sears cards lying around and probably a few FleetFarm ones. I usually get Kohl's cards for my b-day, so I'll soon have some of those as well. I always use gift cards as soon as I get them because I'm paranoid I'll forget about them and they'll expire.
Yikes! This just reminded me I have a Williams Sonoma gift card! I have to find that and use it!
I've got some combination of Sears, Old Navy/Piperlime, and Coffee Bean gift cards waiting to be redeemed. And $5 at my local ice cream store.
$100 Lowes, $20 Home Depot, $50 Tiffany's, $10 Sears. I found the Sears in my closet during Spring cleaning, not sure if it was from before the gift card laws changed.
Recently, I found a $50 crate and barrell gift card that my husband and I received for our wedding, a year ago! It was a nice surprise
Chicos, Bloomie's, Pier One
be carful people, many stores will tell you your gift card is not valid anymore if you wait a year- well they should have told their buyers so much!
