Resolutions don't stop in January. Make a mini one this weekend, and resolve to tackle all the tasks that have been lingering in the back of your mind for weeks or even months. Start by making a list of things you will finally get around to this weekend, and tack it up somewhere visible. Don't groan at the idea of having yet another monster list (which you can conquer with these tips!), because you can do what I doing, and resolve to rip up this new weekend to-do list by the end of Sunday.
I have a couple of things I need to get around to — chores, side projects, and some reading I'd tell myself I'd do when I had the time — but as days rolled on, the tasks are still left unfinished. Another piece of advice for you: don't go too crazy with this list, and be realistic. You only have two full days, so don't try to be a superhero and attempt too many to-dos. It's best to keep it to one to three tasks so the list won't overwhelm you.
