How to Save on Gifts

Gifts can really weigh down your wallet, so why don't you slash the cost of a present by splitting it with a friend? I recently attended a wedding in which everything on the registry looked pretty expensive. My friend and I didn't want to look like cheapskates by going for the lowest priced option, so we decided to buy a gift that was slightly more expensive and split the costs between us. Splitting gifts can work just as well for birthdays and other celebrations!
