Gauge Their Transparency: The chosen NGO gave us great updates on what they were doing, which is reflective of their transparency. The organization also has blog and video updates that shows the public exactly what they are doing in Japan.
Verify Its Track Record: Make sure the nonprofit is trustworthy. Overall, Save the Children has shown that it is an organization that can be trusted through high ratings given by the American Institute of Philanthropy and Charity Navigator.
