With news that Starbucks raised prices in its Canada stores today – with some drink prices up 10 to 25 cents — I'm suddenly more aware of the money I spend on coffee. While I make it a point to spend smartly on all my coffee runs, my typical Starbucks outing is costing me about $3.50 for the latte I crave every morning around 9 a.m., exactly. Here's hoping the Starbucks US stores don't follow suit, because I don't think I could justify a latte addiction that's costing $4.00. What about you? What's your signature coffee craving costing you?

Hmmm...I don't have a signature coffee drink. I make it at home and bring it to work in my travel mug. I'm guessing it probably costs me all of about $0.10 per cup?
I don't drink coffee
About a year ago, I switched from a tall soy latte from Starbucks to a tall bold coffee. It's saves me $1.50 a day.
I absolutely adore the Redeye from Stewarts out of Chicago. I order it by the case and drink it happily all year long out of my own coffee mug. I always splurge on Pumpkin Spice flavored lattes in the fall though.
I've been making coffee at home a lot more often ($5 Sam's Choice from Walmart and it's fair trade!!) but I still can't resist treating myself to SB once or twice a week. I vary it up but my drinks there are usually between $3.50 and $4.50.
I rarely drink coffee, but when I do, it's less than $3. The venti tea I usally get costs me about $1.25.
Starbucks hasn't settled in Scandinavia (apart from the airport in Copenhagen) because of high wages, so it is not an issue.
I rarely drink Starbuck coffee,maybe it's expensive for me~
I've been slowly switching from my venti latte at Starbucks to a large regular coffee at Dunkin Donuts which saves me almost 2 bucks daily
I live in NYC and I actually noticed yesterday that Starbucks prices went up. Anyone know if that's all NYC Starbucks? I usually make my morning coffee at home, but I sometimes need an afternoon pick-me-up. With the higher prices, I'll find another place!
$1.35
If I buy a coffee drink at Pete's it is 2.85 but most of the time I make French press at home with my favorite Costa Rican coffee! Which is way cheaper!!!
It really depends if I want extra espresso or not. I don't drink hot coffee, I like the cold frappes, but I like lots of espresso and they cost 25 cents per shot!! When I was drinking on a regular basis I spent almost $50 a week, so i decided to quit.
I refuse to go to Starbucks or any of those other coffee places. I'll go to Tim Horton's if I'm stuck but generally, I make my coffee at home.
I make Peet's at home. I use pricey low carb "dairy beverage" and Splenda, so I think it comes out to about 60 cents per cup. Such indulgence!
I make my lattes at home most days but splurge on the weekends on a Starbucks latte. The prices in So Cal went up in December so I hope they are no raising them again so soon.
Starbucks went up in VA too so now I try to limit my coffee.
I get a small coffee in a medium cup at Peet's. I just fill it up with soy milk/whole milk/whatever milk I feel like plus some stevia/honey.
$1.70!
I only purchase coffee in social situations, since it really is a rip-off. Otherwise, I drink the free stuff at work. It tastes good.
I make my own at home. I buy good, whole-bean coffee for about $7/lb and I buy my favorite International Delight creamer for $2.50/quart...it probably works out to be about $0.50/cup or so? Way cheaper than Starbucks, anyway.
I don't usually spend $ on coffee unless I have a gift card or want to reward myself. But when I do, my coffee of choice is usually around $3.50 :-/
$4.05 for a venti skinny no foam hazelnut latte
