It's a messy issue and the future discussions are sure to be ugly, which is upsetting given the many musical gifts Jackson left behind. However, despite his mega success, he also died in a mountain of debt. Can you guess how much debt Michael Jackson was trying to dig himself out of when he passed away?

And HE DID NOT SPENDDDD All that $$$ Himself. There were creditors and his finance people that were trying to get him broke so that he'd sell His Beatles catalog that $ONY Half owns together with part of $ONY That Michael owned. But He wouldnt, thats why he fired most the ppl. around him in the early 2000s. It's very sad that the Public still thinks everything the media says is RIGHT! Well News FLASH, IT IS WRONG! Sorry to burst ur bubble but Michael was a very smart man that talked the talk and walked the walk. Thats why they killed him. He was a black man who "didnt know his place"! Right? Dude, your calculation is wrong. He was over a $100 Millon to $200 Mil. in debt. The Media just wants to dramatize everything that Micheal does. It a false # of $$$ that the media reported. Everyone wants to believe the worst so ofcourse ppl. believe it! Prejudice is Ignorace !!! L.o.v.e.

Holy crapola. I kind of figured he owed some money to some people, since he had to settle all those lawsuits and kept buying ridiculous things (like the Elephant Man's skeleton) without making anything. That is really sad...I also feel for his family. That's got to be so hard on them.

Gosh, this has got to be so hard for his poor family. I just hope his children will be taken care of, and hopefully, in the future, won't need to sell all of their dad's things to live a comfortable life.
