2009 was another tough year for the workforce. Unemployment rates continued to soar, meaning many workers were pounding the pavement looking for new jobs and setting up interviews whenever they got a call back.
Job interviews are the ultimate at putting job hunters on the spot, so cheers to you interviewees for holding your own in front of hiring managers and potential bosses. Whether you rocked them or not, how many job interviews did you go to this year? And don't stop voting there — check the rest of my best of 2009 polls!

24. Got offers for all of them
3None. Stayed at the same place all year.
4I'm a consultant; my assignment is ending this Friday and I have an interview for my next gig this afternoon. Wish me luck.
5I would have to say way too many. I would say almost 10 so far and they all have been an interesting learning process in the quest for a great new job.
6None for me, but the hubby had almost too many to count.
7less than 5...it sucks
8Only 1 but I've received (and accepted) 3 job offers this year. Two of the jobs were temporary post-secondary teaching positions. The third is also a post-secondary teaching position but unfortunately depends on enrollment so if enrollment falls I'm out of a job.
