Although Oprah seems to be at her peak, she's going to risk taking the next step and evolve from a daytime talk show to the OWN network. Oprah writes in O Magazine, "I was afraid I wouldn't be able to duplicate what I've done. But as I thought about Michael Jackson, I began to see that not only can you not duplicate success, you're not supposed to. Every new endeavor is created out of the quality of the energy you bring to it and is meant to be its own thing."
Despite her fears, Oprah felt that in order to grow and keep challenging herself, she had to try something new and develop the OWN network.
Takeaway: Don't let fear take you down, and take calculated risks. Continue to grow yourself even if you think you've reached about the highest you can go — there is always room for growth!
