Fix Squeaky Floors With Baby Powder

If you've got wood floors that always seem to squeak, fix the problem with the help of baby powder. This astringent powder leaves things nice and fresh while keeping down the screeches. Here's how to make things better:

  1. Sprinkle baby powder on the area of the wood floor that's squeaking.
  2. Gently sweep the baby powder over the cracks in the floor. It will fill the spaces and keep things from squeaking.
  3. The baby powder keeps the boards from rubbing together, without being abrasive. And it's safe to use over and over again.
