Strap on your stilettos and grab the party dress and parka because Fashion Week is in full swing in NYC! While FabSugar and BellaSugar get an intimate tour of the lovely designs and looks, I'm back home ogling the goods from my desk in San Francisco.
Spendy designer threads are outside of my monthly budget, but I can't help lust after gorgeous outfits and seek the look for less. How much do you plan to throw down to dress up in 2010?

i've never been able to calculate what i spend on clothes but i'd say between $3000 and $5000 a year likely
1I think I'm right around the same range as you, skigurl. I would say I spend $200-$500 a month, depending on what other expenses I have that month.
2Trying to keep it under $1000, but it's hard as I'll making the switch from maternity back to regular gear later this year. This is where consignment stores come in handy!
3I'm already in the red, and it's only February.
4I've recently lost weight - yeah - but need to replenish my wardrobe.
5I probably spend only about $200 a YEAR on new clothes. I just don't see the need to spend a lot on things. I shop at thrift stores and swap clothes with friends, for the most part.
6Thank God I am not in debt, but that being said, I am scared to think of how much I spend, but the total could be as high as 10k. (gulp) This year I am adopting a "french" woman's style sensibilities to stop spending so much
7Way to go Spectra, I want to spend like that too
8I used to spend to the max every year.(and max out the credit cards.) But now I buy nothing. NOTHING. I am still working, but I have closed all my credit cards, I pay cash and do not buy any thing new. I am "shopping my closet", which I have a huge amount of clothes with price tags still on them. Why did I buy all this stuff? Selling on ebay to get some of this "investment" back in my bank account.
9I lost 75 pounds from July to December 2009, so now I have to finance a whole new wardrobe... I slowly bought a few items for winter, but nothing for summer... I'm kind of superstitious so I was hesitant to buy smaller sized clothing without bein sure the weight loss would stick... nearly flashing my boss thanks to a too large top has definitely adjusted that thinking!
