It really does help my mood on a bad day - even if I am just browsing. I just like to look through stores and get greta deals.

You tell me: My friend and I call it retail therapy lol we love it!! Sadly, in this economy those therapy sessions won't be happening so often.

Buying new clothes makes me float with giddiness, I just come home and lay out all my finds and spend some time pairing them with things in my wardrobe - it's so uplifting! It's probably not the best habit, but it's very effective. Now that I think of it, yesterday I was going through something very stressful and I happened to be at Wal-Mart so I bought a bag of black licorice (which reminds me of my childhood) and instantly I felt my tension ease up a bit. Strange, no?

I like getting myself something special ... like a new hat for winter, or a new dress to wear for work. That always makes me feel better because then I have something to look forward to wearing that is just for me.

sometimes not even shopping can help my mood - typically i'll just choose to work out and pray that it helps me since spending money just makes me more miserable.

Yes, it most definitely does! But I try to limit it to something simple, like a cup of STARBUCKS coffee. I try not to go too overboard because then I'll end up feeling bad that I spent too much money!

It usually does make me feel better, but I try to make it just a small purchase, like a new eyeshadow or something.

I'm a big believer in retail therapy :) Just last night, I spent about 4 hours shopping after work and now I all these great new work clothes and 2 pairs of hot boots! I couldn't be happier today!

It does cheer me up , But I try not to do that any more. It is to expensive. The worse the day the more i spend. I try to not sweat the small stuff and keep a positive attitude no matter what happens.

It only feels good if you have the money to spend. Otherwise I feel twice as bad. My go-to remedy is a hot bath and a cuddle on the couch with my husband and a glass of wine.

It does make me feel better but I just buy lower cost items. Like a fashion mag or a cup of coffee.

It's hit or miss with me. I have to be careful, because there are times when I go shopping to make me feel better, and then it backfires because I'm having a "fat" day, or nothing fits me right.

I just did this last night, and I know it sounds awful, but I feel a lot better! I'm wearing new jeans and a new belt, and when I get home I have lots of new kitchen stuff to play with!

I try to stay away from shopping if I'm in a bad mood, unless I know exactly what I want. If I just go to the mall and look for items, and find nothing that either fits, or I like, I end up in an even worse mood.
